Michael King Jr. rallies at Batesville, claims Hard Charger Award

Putting his electrical issues a week prior behind him, Michael King Jr. returned to action on Saturday afternoon at Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Ark.) competing with the Titan Legends Series presented by SuperClean.

Drawing 20 Late Models, King suffered damage from a rock to his radiator in his hot lap session that prevented him from making the call for his heat race. Rolling off on the tail for the $1,000-to-win A-Main, Michael charged through the field 10 spots in the 25-lapper to register a 10th-place finish. The impressive showing earned him the Farmers Tree Service Inc. Hard Charger Award.
